Question:

If Islam’s origin is from Prophet Muhammad (s), then what about the other prophets of our religion, what did they bring us?

Answer:

Allah (swt) in His Grand Wisdom introduced His perfect religion in stages. The past prophets came with revelation from God or taught these revelations. Each one introduced a more advanced stage of the one religion of Islam. Finally, prophet Muhammad (s) came with the most perfect version.

The scholars liken it to school, where a student cannot understand what he is taught in year 12 if he has not learned the subject matter of previous years. Similarly, humankind would not have been ready for The Perfect Religion – if it was not for the contributions and struggles of previous prophets.
